Terms of use and safety

These rules are intended to ensure the safety of all users. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in serious injury or death, particularly among children.

General risks and supervision

Stock Tank pools are less than 60 cm deep, but they still present risks. Families with children or pets must be extra careful. Constant supervision is mandatory: a child or an adult can drown in just 15 cm of water.

Children must never be left alone in or around a pool, regardless of its size. Remove toys and floats after use so that a child is not tempted to approach the pool.

Maintenance and water quality

A poorly maintained pool can become a breeding ground for pathogens. The Customer must ensure:

  • adequate water circulation;

  • regular treatment;

  • maintenance in accordance with the instructions provided.

Without these measures, the water can become hazardous to health.

Important warnings

  • No diving or jumping: these actions can result in paralysis, permanent injury or death.

  • No running, rough play or glass in the swimming area.

  • Do not use the pool under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Never operate the pump while someone is in the pool, or when the water level is too low. The pump must be turned off and removed during swimming.

Access and safe behaviour

It is the Customer's responsibility to assess whether a pool, Stock Tank or otherwise, is safe for their family. Caution is essential, even in a shallow pool.

People who are drowning generally cannot call for help. All users must know and follow the safety rules.

Liability and limitation of liability

The Customer assumes full responsibility for the use of their Stock Tank pool.

By using this site, the Customer agrees to hold ILOTank harmless from any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from the general use of the products or of the information provided.
