Guarantee

Our tanks are covered by Hastings' manufacturer warranty. It covers the structure of the tank and excludes issues related to maintenance or the use of excessive chemical products.

Galvanized steel is protected by a zinc coating against corrosion. This coating naturally wears down over time, and adding chlorine accelerates its deterioration. It is therefore essential to follow ILOTank's recommended dosages and never perform a shock treatment.

Safety

Safety around the pool is a priority, especially when children are present.

Never jump or dive into the stock tank pool. Always turn off and remove the pump before swimming. Use a rigid or soft cover when the pool is not in use. Never leave children unsupervised near the pool. Plug the pump into an outdoor outlet that complies with the Quebec building code (GFI outlet). GFI outlets protect against electric shock in case of contact with water.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning

Remove surface debris with a skimmer net. Vacuum the bottom of the pool and brush the walls to remove algae and deposits.

Water treatment

Use a floating chlorine or bromine diffuser. Keep the level between 0.5 and 1 PPM maximum — beyond that, the galvanized coating can be damaged. Test the water regularly with strips and clean the filter every week.

Filtration

Check that the system is working properly. The pump uses little energy: it should stay running at all times, except while swimming.

Preventing rust

Use the minimum amount of chemicals. Never pour chlorine, salt, or bromine directly into the pool. If a rust spot appears, drain and treat it immediately.

Winterizing

Empty the pool completely, then turn it upside down on small blocks to promote airflow and prevent moisture buildup.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the logistical constraints of transportation, delivered pools cannot be returned. We encourage you to contact our team with any questions before purchasing.

Why choose a stock tank pool?

No excavation, no contractor, no permit. The stock tank pool installs in just a few hours on any flat surface — and costs a fraction of the price of a traditional pool.

Naturally rugged

Backyard, deck, patio, or tight space — our pools come in several sizes to fit your outdoor environment.

For the whole family

Whether cooling off in summer, recovering after a workout, or simply enjoying the outdoors, the stock tank pool is for everyone — kids, adults, even pets.

A design you can personalize

Raw steel blends naturally with any outdoor style. Paint, greenery, ambient lighting — make it your own.
