- Place the tank on any flat, level surface. No digging, no construction.
- Fill it with your garden hose (a few hours depending on your water flow).
- Drop in the submersible pump: its filters are built in and its suction cups hold it to the side wall of the tank. No drilling, nothing to install. Plug it in and you're done. Turn it off and take it out before swimming.
Upkeep is just as simple: rotate the sponge filters and keep 0.5 to 1 ppm of chlorine or bromine in a floating dispenser.

ILOTank galvanized steel pools are made from tempered agricultural‑grade steel, coated with a protective zinc layer applied through hot‑dip galvanization.
The material is the same used in professional agricultural tanks, ensuring unmatched durability. Manufactured by Hastings — a company in operation for over 100 years.

Québec Regulations – Height & Volume
In Québec, the Regulation respecting the safety of residential swimming pools (fence at least 1.2 m high and municipal permit) applies to pools with a water depth of 60 cm or more.
Galvanized steel stock tanks have an inside height of about 58 cm: the water cannot reach 60 cm, so they fall below the threshold of the provincial regulation. Municipalities may, however, adopt stricter or additional rules: check with yours before installing.

How does the $9.99 deposit work?
It reserves your tank and your 5% discount. It is refundable at any time before delivery is set in motion, no questions asked. The final payment is made once your choice is finalized with us.
When will you contact me?
In April, to finalize the size you want. You can change your choice until May 2027, before the final payment.
When will I receive my tank?
In spring 2027, at home or at a pickup point. We'll email you to schedule the delivery.

Do I need a fence or a permit?
In Quebec, the provincial regulation covers basins with 60 cm of water or more. Our galvanized steel tanks (interior height of about 58 cm) are below that threshold: they are not pools under that regulation. Our round polyethylene tanks are 24 in (about 61 cm) high: check with your municipality. The 28 in (about 71 cm) square tank is above the threshold: plan for an enclosure and a permit. In Alberta, a provincial rule also covers pools deeper than 60 cm; elsewhere in Canada, municipal by-laws apply, often around 60 cm, but some cities are stricter. Always check with your municipality. Basin or pool, safety comes first
Whatever the height, any basin of water calls for the same care: always supervise children. For our 6', 7' and 8' round tanks, ILOTank had a custom-fit cover made that locks with 6 latches, to keep the tank closed when no one is swimming. It is included in every Premium Kit (6', 7' and 8').
